Jared

Here's our little man Mom :)

The one and only Jared...
Look at that sweet face!
I think he was scared of me in the beginning, because I took so many pictures and videos of him. But he's warmed up to me now and when I say "Hi Jared, how are you?" He smiles and says "I excellent!" It's so cute!

I've tried to take a lot of different little videos of him in class, but he hasn't really paid attention until today, so here he is in action:

I always forget how little he is...
A few weeks ago all of the Kinder kids got to enjoy a pool day. Here's Jared livin' it up...
An opportunity he might not have if he wasn't at Santa Clara
And lastly a picture of him and his good pal Oscar (who's also on scholarship). These two are great friends :)!

He's a wonderful little guy and I'm so glad he's getting the opportunity to continue to go to Santa Clara! Thanks Mom :)!

If you're interested in sponsoring a child, please take a look at the scholarship website:

http://sponsor.olanchoaid.org/home

It can be expensive to sponsor a child on your own, but many people do it with another person or even three-four people. If you split it four ways with friends or family it could be as little as $15 a month. Which when you think about it is one less dinner eaten out. Plus you would have the incredible blessing of changing a child's life, through the power of a good education. Think about it, pray about it, and see where your heart leads you!

Please keep all of the children of Honduras and across the world in your prayers. Every child should have food in their bellies, a roof over their head at night, a loving family, and the right to a good education!

"Each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he or she sends forth a tiny ripple of hope. Crossing each other from a million different centre’s of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance" - Robert F Kennedy
